Freestyle Cross Stitch

Bring the needle through on the lower right line of the cross and insert up and to the left and take a stitch to emerge on the lower line.Complete the upper section of the cross. Care should be taken that the upper half of the cross is in the same direction.

It is worked in the same way as the regular cross stitch, only that the legs of the cross do not cross at right angles.It is used as a filler stitch to give a accent to the filling specially in landscaping.
